What should I expect after applying Maxforce Impact Roach Bait?
  1. 0 votes
Q What should I expect after applying Maxforce Impact Roach Bait? answer now
    Asked on December 15, 2025 6:37 AM
A Within the first 24–48 hours, you may see increased roach activity as the bait draws them out of hiding. This is normal and indicates the bait is working. By day 3–5, activity should drop sharply as the transfer effect reaches the colony. In heavier infestations, complete control typically occurs within 7–10 days. For best results, avoid spraying repellent insecticides near bait placements, maintain good sanitation, and refresh bait placements if they become contaminated or fully consumed.
  2. Why choose Maxforce Impact over other roach baits?

Q Why choose Maxforce Impact over other roach baits? answer now
    Asked on December 15, 2025 6:35 AM
A Maxforce Impact stands out because it uses a unique, non-repellent active ingredient that roaches cannot detect, making it highly effective against both bait-averse and chemically resistant cockroach populations. Unlike older baits that rely on traditional insecticides, Maxforce Impact provides a powerful transfer effect, allowing exposed roaches to contaminate and eliminate hidden nestmates. Its attractive food matrix maintains palatability even in kitchens with competing food sources, helping achieve faster, more consistent colony elimination.
  4. How long does Maxforce Impact Roach Bait take to work?

Q How long does Maxforce Impact Roach Bait take to work? answer now
    Asked on December 15, 2025 6:33 AM
A Maxforce Impact begins working within just a few hours after roaches feed on it. Most infestations show a noticeable drop in activity in 24–72 hours, with full population collapse typically occurring in 5–7 days, depending on the size of the colony and the availability of competing food sources. Because Maxforce Impact uses a non-repellent, non-traditional active ingredient, roaches do not detect or avoid it, allowing them to feed freely and return the bait to the nest. This results in a strong secondary transfer effect, meaning even roaches that never touch the bait can still be eliminated through contact with contaminated nestmates.

Place bait into cracks and crevices or openings leading into voids, or make spot applications near harborages, aggregation, foraging / feeding areas. Examples of locations for bait placement include: between different elements of construction; the hollow spaces in floors, walls, ceilings, or in equipment legs and bases; cracks and crevices around pipes, doors or windows, refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, dishwashers, and other equipment; behind or under baseboards, cupboards, cabinets, countertops, sinks; and, wherever cockroaches may be found hiding. Application Rates:

Application rate is dependent on level of infestation and species to be controlled. Apply gel as round spots or thin beads into cracks and crevices or as a spot treatment.

  • For use in maintenance programs where regular [monthly, quarterly] applications are made for continuous control of cockroach populations, use 0.75 grams of bait per square yard.
