Q Do I need to rinse my sprayer before adding a new chemical? answer now
    Asked on June 11, 2022 6:46 PM
A You should always only mix what you intend to use when putting pesticides in the Chapin 1 gallon sprayer.  Storing unused product in the sprayer can damage sprayer, also pesticides breakdown and lose their effectiveness over time. Always triple rinse your container after use. If using a pesticide that is compatible with the last one used, adding the new one would be fine. Never mix a repellent with a non-repellent and check labels for compatibility.

A When mixing any pesticide, fill the Chapin 1 gallon sprayer about one quarter full, then add the desired amount of pesticide. After adding the pesticide, you will then continue to fill the Chapin sprayer with water until full.  Replace the lid, then shake to distribute the pesticide evenly throughout the sprayer.  With Crossfire Bed Bug concentrate you would use one 13 oz bottle for every gallon of water.
