Did you know that Fall is the most beloved time of the year? Ok, maybe I made that up, but it is definitely my favorite time of the year! I mean how can you not love the brisk, cool mornings and the bright, orange and yellow colors of the fall leaves and the pumpkin lattes? It just brings a smile to my face.

Every year the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) releases a seasonal pest forecast according to the weather that we have had during the year. According to NPMA, here are their top 7 pests to watch for this Fall:

In the South-Central states, warmer than average temperatures could allow for ant activity well throughout the fall!

In the South-Central and Southwest states, warmer than average temperatures could allow for cockroach activity well throughout the fall!

In the Southwest states if warm fall temperatures persist, expect centipedes to remain active well throughout the fall.

In the North Central states, below average fall temperatures could drive boxelder bugs into structures in search of shelter

In the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, Midwest, Southwest, Northwest and North Central states you can be sure as with every year, the rodent population to increase. As rodents prepare for baby season, they will be searching for a warm place to nest.
