What Do Bed Bugs Look Like?

Bed bugs are vampire-like little creatures that feed on the blood of and other warm-blooded animals. Bed bugs have elongated, oval-shaped bodies and are typically a reddish-brown color. With six legs, two long antennae, and small, piercing mouthparts, these insects are about the size of an apple seed.

What Do Bed Bug Droppings Look Like?

When looking for bed bug feces you will want to keep an eye out for a brownish, rust-colored droppings that are the size of a pinhead. Older feces will generally be darker, while fresher bed bug feces may be brighter red (just like blood). Bed bug feces has the consistency of mud or wet saw dust.
