No, the Wilco Squirrel Bait Stations do not come with mounting hardware, but a simple wire, rope or stakes will help secure it to your object of choice.
The Wilco Squirrel Bait Stations are made with a heavy-duty plastic and have a twist locking cap, but if a non-target animal or pet really wanted to open the station or shook the station hard enough the bait could come out. We recommend always securing the stations with a stake or to a post to keep this from happening. Keep out of reach of children and animals to avoid such situations.
The number of Wilco Squirrels Bait stations you use is determined by the size of the area being controlled. The general rule of thumb is placing a bait station every 50 to 100 ft depending on how heavy the population is.
The Wilco Squirrel Bait Boxes can be secured by using the pre-formed holes on either side of the box and using wire or a durable twine, (bailing wire) works great. You can also remove the lid and drive a stake through trap into the ground.
