    A The Victor EasySet Gopher Trap can work immediately after proper placement. In active tunnels, many users catch a gopher within a few hours to 24 hours. Most successful captures occur within 1–3 days, depending on gopher activity, tunnel selection, and correct trap positioning. The Victor EasySet is a mechanical kill trap, not a bait or poison. It relies on the gopher’s natural movement through underground tunnels. When the gopher encounters the trap, it triggers a powerful, instant strike, resulting in immediate control. Because there is no feeding delay or toxic action involved, results are often much faster than bait-based methods when the trap is placed correctly. For best results, install the Victor EasySet Gopher Trap in fresh, active main tunnels, secure it firmly, and check it daily. If no activity occurs after 48–72 hours, reposition the trap into another active run.
    2. Is it common for more than one gopher to be in the same location and reset the trap in same tunnel or move on from that location unless you see new activity? Also I noticed a lot of people say to leave the tunnel open to let in light and others say closet the tunnel to block out the light. Is leaving it open not as good as closing it like you did?     A It is definitely common to have more than one gopher in a runway system, especially during baby season. If you haven't seen any activity in a few days, then you definitely want to wait until you see where that fresh activity pops up so you aren't wasting your time. We have always closed the tunnel, but we have heard other opinions that the gopher will see the daylight and try to close the tunnel thus encouraging them to go to the trap. We have never trapped that way, so it is something that is preference. Thanks so much for watching!

    Yes, after using or after a catch has been made, you may need to wash the Victor Easy Set Gopher traps, do so by simply using water and scrubbing clean and air drying.

If you haven't seen any activity in a few days, then you definitely want to wait until you see where that fresh activity pops up so you aren't wasting your time. We have always closed the tunnel, but we have heard other opinions that the gopher will see the daylight and try to close the tunnel thus encouraging them to go to the trap. We have never trapped that way, so it is something that is preference. Thanks so much for watching!
