When comparing The Gophinator trap to the Trapline Mole trap, The Gophinator is the larger of the two traps. Â
The best place to place your wire or string to secure the Gophinator gopher trap is the back of the spring where there is a small loop. Then attach the other end of the wire or string to a stake in the ground. Â
For the best results always use 2 Gophinator Traps per runway, which means place one trap going right and one going left for best coverage (ensuring the gopher will trigger the trap). How many traps you need will depend on the size of the area or how many locations you are treating.
The Gophinator trap is designed to catch one gopher at a time but can be used over and over again.
When using the Gophinator traps, it's always a good idea to tie and stake down your traps using some sort of string or wire and a large nail or stake. The purpose for staking down the traps is because animals or wildlife will pick up on the scent of the gopher and dig up and drag off the trap.
We haven't seen success with using The Gophinator Gopher trap for moles.
