To understand the HowTo Pest.com story, I will have to take you way, way, way back…ok, maybe not that far back.
It all started in Paso Robles, CA in 1997. My dear loving husband says, “Hey Honey, I am quitting my super-stable job as a correctional officer, and we are going to start an animal trapping business.” Now, being the supportive wife that I am, I said, “Yes, Babe, that is a great idea,” while in my head I silently cried.
Over the next 10 years, I saw my husband become an authority on animal trapping. He was able to solve infestation problems that no other company could solve. His expertise landed him on the local news several times, as well as being the go-to vendor for the largest pest companies.
In 2007, after many requests for us to spray our client’s homes for bugs, we added general pest control services to our business model. This grew our company exponentially. We became a full-service pest control company that had the knowledge and experience to solve any pest problem. We could trap any animal and spray any bug.
Craig’s determination to be the best pest control company then led him to studying everything there is to know about bed bugs, as they were making a rapid comeback in the United States. He again became the go-to guy for bed bugs, servicing many major hotel chains. His YouTube videos on treating bed bugs have reached well over 3 MILLION views! You can check them out HERE.
Fast forward another couple of years and yet again my darling husband says, “Let’s create a website so that everybody can buy professional pest control products and do their own pest control.” Bada bing, bada bang…HowToPest.com was born!
