How long does PT Phantom II Pressurized Insecticide take to work?

Q How long does PT Phantom II Pressurized Insecticide take to work? answer now
    Asked on December 18, 2025 12:39 PM
A PT Phantom II begins working within hours after insects contact treated areas, but visible results often appear more gradually. Most users notice a reduction in pest activity within 24–48 hours, while full control typically develops over 3–7 days, depending on pest type, infestation size, and application accuracy. PT Phantom II uses chlorfenapyr, a non-repellent, slow-acting active ingredient that disrupts an insect’s energy production. Because it does not cause immediate knockdown, insects continue moving through treated areas and return to hidden harborages before dying. This delayed action is essential for eliminating hard-to-reach pests such as roaches, ants, and bed bugs, rather than just those seen on the surface. For best results, apply PT Phantom II to cracks, crevices, wall voids, and harborages, and allow treated areas to remain undisturbed so insects continue to contact the residual.

Q Will PT Phantom II kill insects on contact? answer now
    Asked on August 25, 2025 7:17 AM
A Not immediately. PT Phantom II works through a delayed-action kill, allowing pests to come in contact with the treatment and spread it within their colony or harborage before dying. This makes it especially powerful against ants, roaches, and bed bugs.

There is no better way to maximize the effect of a pesticide than to place it where pests spend a majority of their time – cracks and crevices. Cockroaches and other pests don’t stand a chance.  Ready-to-use, PT Phantom II Pressurized Insecticide is easy to apply directly to the sites where it works the hardest while using a minimal amount of product. You save time and money without sacrificing quality. Got bed bugs? PT Phantom II operates in stealth mode: bed bugs can’t detect them, so they don’t scatter or avoid contact when applied. The active ingredient enters insects unobstructed and goes to work!

Product Benefits:

  • Ready-to-use formulation eliminates the need for mixing
  • Undetectable
  • Can be used as a crack & crevice treatment or spot treatment
