    A The GopherHawk Gopher Trap can work immediately after proper placement. In active tunnels, many users catch a gopher within a few hours to 24 hours. Most successful captures occur within 1–3 days, depending on gopher activity, tunnel location, and placement accuracy. The GopherHawk is a mechanical kill trap, not a bait or poison. It relies on the gopher’s natural tunnel movement. When the gopher pushes soil through the active run, it triggers the trap, resulting in instant kill. Because there is no delayed action or feeding requirement, results can be much faster than bait-based control methods when the trap is placed correctly in an active main tunnel. For best results, locate fresh, active tunnels, set the trap firmly according to instructions, and check it daily. If no activity occurs after 48–72 hours, reposition the trap into a different active run.

    A This is a question we get asked a lot. The short answer is we have never found it to be true, but we do place them back into the runway for easy disposal after we remove it from the Gopherhawk gopher trap.

    A Once you catch a gopher in the Gopherhawk gopher trap, simply the pull trap out of the ground, hold the solid black portion of the trap while pushing down on the top part to open prongs.
