Q What is the correct mix rate for Roundup Custom Aquatic Herbicide? answer now
    Asked on August 20, 2025 9:25 PM
A The mix rate for Roundup® Custom Aquatic & Terrestrial Herbicide depends on the target weeds and method of application: General Weed Control (annual & perennial weeds): Mix 1 to 3 ounces of Roundup Custom per gallon of water. This covers approximately 300–600 square feet of treated area. Aquatic Weed Control (ponds, lakes, marshes, and ditches): Mix 0.75 to 1.5 ounces per gallon of water and apply as a foliar spray directly onto emerged weeds. For large areas, use 1.5 to 3 quarts per acre, depending on weed density. Tough, Woody, or Invasive Weeds: Use a higher rate of 4 to 6 ounces per gallon of water or up to 5–8 quarts per acre for brush, cattails, and stubborn aquatic vegetation. Application Tips: Always add a non-ionic surfactant (0.25% v/v or 1 teaspoon per gallon of spray solution) to improve herbicide absorption. Apply as a foliar spray, ensuring thorough coverage of weed leaves. Avoid overspray or drift onto desirable plants and trees. Visible results typically appear within 2–4 days, with complete control in 7–14 days. 👉 Roundup Custom is a glyphosate-based, non-selective herbicide labeled for aquatic, terrestrial, forestry, and right-of-way use, making it one of the most versatile vegetation management products available.
