A Yes, you need some type of fly bait to place inside the FBS-1 fly bait stations. Maxforce Fly Spot Bait is a great choice. The FBS-1 bait box works by flies entering through the vents on top and consuming the bait.

A The FBS-1 fly stations are made to secure fly bait and can be placed placed anywhere you might have a fly problem. You can place by trashcans, on fence rails, garden areas, etc.

Yes, the bait stations have a better attractant and can be mounted/placed anywhere. The strips can be very unsightly.

The FBS -1 Fly Bait Station is awesome to combat those terrible fly issues! This fly bait station has a durable hinge design for extended reliability. You can mount this fly bait station to almost anywhere…walls, fences, stakes, poles, etc.. How does it work? Open the lid, place some liquid or granular fly bait in the trays. Close the lid. The vents on the top of the station are specifically designed to allow flies into station, while protecting bait from wind, rain, & other elements.
